At the point there is a Yamaha Tour Custom installation (maple), right now there are Evans Onyx on it. But for recording, you need a more open sound, and Onyx is muffled by everyone. I lean towards EC2 (but won't it be awesome for soap?), But maybe you can advise something else) Heavy music)

No, definitely NOT sewn on soap. The Ec2 has less dirt and more pop from the bottom.

remo ambassador, as for me the best plastics. Well, or evans similar to g1 there or something

Remo Emperor coated top
Remo ambassador coated bottom
normal combination, I have it now, for example, but before I loved a dull bass sound
kreker
well, I also loved the dull sound, but the Onyxes somehow strangle too much)

Generally advise the International Federation of Journalists of plastics for this installation. I only repay on it, so there is no need for special strength) Something universal, so that it is acceptable on recording and live) And then I have a lot of attendants with salt for such experiments)))

pinstripe and pinstripe coated are universal heads - they are both durable (double) and give a click, and give a sound (do not choke).

I understand ec2 and pinstripe like analogs. Thanks)

I played a little on ec2, but it seemed to me that they eat up the very tone of the sound, leaving mostly low and click.
Pinstripe still retains its tone and, in my opinion, sounds much more advantageous, livelier and juicier.

if you want to record the drums normally then g2 or g14 on the top and g1 on the bottom ...

On the pit, remos sound better. Fact
aroma
I listened to it once on Yamaha G14. It was fucking awesome.

Evans are good at spanking. And the Yamahas usually play, not spank. And where the right ones should sound and are needed - there is a rem.

remos are crispy, evans are even, and aquarium is thick.
