If you want to play rim shots, forget about them. And their balance is strange, but it's a matter of habit.

yes, I felt this (it worries me more, they say they kill plates faster, so I'm asking, otherwise it's all a matter of habit))

Call.
The wooden stick is flexible. It absorbs while playing, suppressing harmful and unwanted vibrations.
Carbon doesn't do that.
For the same reason, these sticks break iron, rims.
+ they have a very specific balance (when it comes to wikis). More precisely, it is very offset towards the tip.
And they are not eternal as advertised. Sometimes they do not live much longer than a good tree.

I bought carbon fiber ones in 2009, I don't remember what kind of company they are, they still serve. With the balance, everything is good, I play at least 2 times a week for 4 hours.
Unkillable for sure) will unscrew the rims faster and the iron will bend.
BUT
Wood is always better.
Now I use it as a spare.
The sound is hard, it is not so comfortable in the hands.

Not very profitable. My vf carbon lives about three times longer than wooden ones, and the price differs seven times.

bought Vic Firth - Titan 5B, I'm satisfied: the sticks are balanced, don't slip out, they seemed a little heavier than 5B, but I'm used to it.
Iron is not crushed, over time, as well as on wooden sticks, mechanical damage appears. The basic idea is that these sticks will break sooner or later, but not so quickly. Everything that is said about them on YouTube coincided with my personal feeling of using them.
