Paiste cleaner and protector

Gentlemen, I'm at a loss. I bought a Paiste cleaner and protector, cleaned it, applied a protector. Within two days, fingerprints appeared, and in a couple of places there was even a green plaque. What have I done wrong? Cymbals Paiste 502, the protector was applied with a clean dry cloth and polished dry.

    applied a cleaner, held it for a little, rubbed it with a dry cloth until it shine, washed off the remnants with warm water, wiped it dry. After about 20 minutes, apply the protector with a clean dry cloth and polish until the protector is dry.

    I clean with a cleaner and a protector. All in a bunch. Nothing turns sour))))
