Competition Finalists - Young Drummer 2013 - Nathan Wallington

All of them will perform in the final of the competition, which will be held on February 3, 2013. Many of them will become world stars in a few years.

I've been playing drums for 3.5 years now and my drum teacher is Danny Pearson. The decision to play drums came when I saw my friend in the school band - it was the best thing I saw!
My idols are Chad Smith, Dave Weckl, Dave Elitch and Buddy Rich, I watch their drumming video schools all the time and try to learn from them.
I play in two bands, one is alternative rock and the other is progressive metal. I like to play different styles, it's important to play a variety of music, and I also play guitar and a bit of piano.
