Meinl Brann Dailor Ghost Ride Plate

Mastodon drummer Brann Dailor worked closely with Meinl to develop the Ghost Ride cymbal. Brann insists that his new cymbal describes the Meinl cymbal as the "most balanced" cymbal.

Like all Meinl MB8 cymbals, this cymbal is made from standard B8 alloy. When forming the body of the plate from a blank, a technique was used that creates the effect of forging. A special manufacturing technique gives the plate such a color as if the metal has oxidized. This cymbal has a powerful muscular body, which goes well with heavy metal music, but the shape of the cymbal allows musicians to play on it and more subtle in terms of construction, music.
