Queen
Roger Taylor (full name - Roger Taylor-Middows) was born July 29, 1949 in Kingslynn (Norfolk, UK). Since childhood, he dreamed of becoming a musician, was a vocalist, guitarist and drummer in school bands. After leaving school, he entered the Medical College at the London Hospital, where he studied dentistry. In the summer of 1968, when Taylor's Reaction group broke up, he responded to an ad from Brian May and Tia Staffel looking for a drummer for their "The Smile". In the summer of 1970, Staffel left the group and was replaced by Farukh Bulsara, a graduate of the College of the Arts, who became famous under the name of Freddie Mercury. With the arrival in February 1971 of a new bassist, John Deacon, the history of "Queen" began, which in a matter of years turned into a legend of world rock.
In addition to working with Queen, Roger Taylor also implemented his own projects. In 1981 he released a solo album "Fun in Space", and in 1984 - "Strange Frontier". In August 1987, Taylor put together the band "The Cross"; with her he recorded her debut album "Shove It", released in January of the following year, and performed in clubs in the UK and Germany. Then the albums "The Cross" "Mad Bad And Dangerous To Know" (1988) and "Blue Rock" (1991) were released. In September 1994, Roger Taylor's third solo album "HappinessN" was released, with which he made a tour of Europe, and in 1998 his album "Electric Fire" was released.
