This entire book is entirely my own understanding of drums. I tried to structure a huge layer of completely different and extremely disparate information and game concepts in a single, hierarchically constructed and easily understood system. In my personal opinion, most schools of percussion instruments are extremely poorly structured, very difficult to understand (especially for beginning musicians) and for the most part present only a series of disparate recommendations - rather than a unified system of knowledge and skills. In addition, almost everywhere my own analysis of a particular game concept, drawn from many years of experience, analysis and experiments, is added and described in detail. Unfortunately, many even professional drummers (playing at a very high level) cannot really explain what they are playing and why it is necessary this way and not otherwise, and what actually happens during their playing. The maximum that such an explanation can amount to is simply a demonstration of what they do and advice to do the same. And not an explanation of what they actually do and why they do this. Or it can be reduced to an abstruse analysis of each note they play, a complex counting without understanding that this example of playing relates, for the most part, to only one, specific work and is applicable only in it (and perhaps in several more similar ones), but not in all style of music in general... Usually, already in the second minute I lose interest in something like this and start to openly fall asleep... And not experienced drummers begin to blindly copy what their idol shows - considering this to be the standard playing always and everywhere.
