Friends, tell me about the electronic drum pad, which can be connected via midi to a laptop, and use it as a midi controller, selecting sound from the library on the computer. Is there such a thing at all?

Any trigger or kick pad will work, connected either via a module with a USB output, or via a simple Alesis trigger I / O controller
Directly from a trigger to a laptop does not happen! You need to somehow convert the signal from the piezo sensor to midi! For this you need some kind of controller! There is no built-in pad or trigger, as far as I know!

Is it possible to connect the pad via midi directly to the laptop and use its base on the pad, via the midi-usb cable?

Well look I have alesis PercPad. He goes midi connection. Can I directly connect from it to the laptop via the midi-usb cable and use the library of samples from the laptop directly?
electronic pad wire midi usb laptop. Will you be able to connect in such a bundle?

it will work out. Especially if you have a sound card with asio support. Otherwise, there may be a noticeable delay that will prevent you from playing normally.

then all the same you need a sound card ... then the connection will look like this: a pad connected to the sound card, and from the card to the laptop via usb?

If the card has a midi interface, then yes. If not, then you need a separate usb-midi interface.

Explain plz. The pads usually only have a jack input. So even if through the card, how will it give a midi signal?

Is it really not clear that the signal from the trigger is a stupid electrical surge with an amplitude equal to the force of impact on it? And in order to convert this signal into all the desired ones, a controller is required at least. Either a sampler triggered by a piezo sensor, or a midi converter.
