Good evening!
Faced with the problem of strong sustain and blockage in frequencies from cymbals in small clubs. Please tell me the dampers for a small jamming (I will use them only for concerts in small rooms) or other ways to solve this problem.

Stick the electrical tape from below as much as it will sound. That's the whole damper. The sustain will disappear and the cymbals will be discreet. Some even manage to sculpt it in clips)) apparently forget to take it off during filming.
It can be removed easily, will not leave traces

Don't forget. When you shoot a video, you play the same thing several times and, in order not to jam everyone, you close up))

You can stick a mungel. It helps a lot too. The main thing is that it is not very dirty, otherwise it will fly away.

Below are a couple of strips of paper masking tape, perfectly suppressing and leaving no traces, I use it successfully!

mungel jamming too much

I sculpt electrical tape, just not just sculpt, but like an accordion.

A little damping is given by wider pads under the cymbal. Only they are not made of felt, but some kind of synthetics. DDS makes, and the boujuis do too

It would be very nice to purchase a concert set of hardware specially for small venues)

I use masking tape / cympad moderator 90mm depending on the room. Mungel is also normal, if you glue it closer to the dome
