Hello, please advise how best to muffle the front plastic on the bass barrel.

Hello. I jammed my barrel with a large, thick and wide piece of hard foam rubber around the entire diameter of the barrel. Example: width 15cm, thickness 4cm, long in diameter, but to fit snugly around the edges.
