Hello friends! I have an old snare drum, I want to paint it, but I'm more interested in painting the lag and rims! To make it bright and not dull ... who did such experiments, how many layers are all persimmons? Share what is better to paint?

    repainted metal Tama, first cleaned it of old paint, then painted it with a primer and 2 layers of paint, three layers of varnish on top (this is if from a spray gun or a pulverizer)

    do not skimp on paint and varnish, buy normal ones otherwise everything will be crappy, everything will be peeled off, peel off, or even worse, it will feel like it has not dried out
