How to take care of the pedal?

    vd is not grease)

  • alex_marchenko

Not all lubricants are compatible. You can harm

  • amdm

Well, I haven't lubricated the cobra with anything yet, and I'm trying to find what I need

  • alex_marchenko

Tama had its own lubricant. I don’t think she’s any unique and cannot be replaced.

    I use ordinary machine oil

  • amdm

and how to lubricate it at all? Why not smear too much?

  • swerus

well, everything that rubs and spins

  • amdm

Well, I heard that if you lubricate the calm vest of a part of the pocket, then the ardor will be in oil and this is not very good

As far as I know, it is better not to lubricate anything with a VD. I lubricate myself with ordinary bicycle chain lubricant, everything is fine. One zilch and 2-3 months rest

On my gimbal, I only lubricate the attachment points of the foodboard with the heel and the crosspiece on the shaft with ordinary household lubricating oil. And I do not touch the bearings, because there are prom bearings which, in my case, are not collapsible. But if it is possible to disassemble, then a grease such as grease or lithol-24 will come off.

I don’t know, MB is not a topic, but if I understand correctly what needs to be missed (not bearings), then I use oil from a chainsaw. It is very convenient, you do not need much, and it is enough for a long time. Designed for high revs. Plus, fine dust is not badly knocked out of any difficult connections.

VD is not a lubricant, it is a cleaning agent for corrosion and other rubbish (it corrodes, does not lubricate in any way), I would not recommend them to either "lubricate". Lito-solidol - performs several other functions, and then clogs and the whole sticks to it dirt that is difficult to clean. For this there is elementary machine oil, a couple of drops are enough, there is no point in "pouring", or oil for sewing machines
