Any Evans single layer plastic marked Dry. It is distinguished by the presence of perfection around the entire circumference. If set up correctly, the sound is unrealistically dry.

Or you put g1, or g plus, or any other single-layer layer, of any other company, you mold a slime, aka-moon gel on it and, in fact, you get a dry layer. Its dryness already depends on the number of dampers. Salt and pepper to taste.

Even though you didn't attach a photo of your xylophone, but the inscription "30 years" is enough to understand that the instrument is a complete corpse.
If the keys are cracked / badly worn / chipped, then no master will help you. ((As far as I understand, this is about the simplest birch xylophone, with ordinary, uncovered fiberglass. plates.)
The master can only make an adjustment of the system. (The plates should be in the ext .state.)
Any work on one plate or its manufacture is from 1000 rubles. So count how much the repair will cost.
In short. Burn it to hell in the oven and find a modern used one on Avito. They are often sold at times cheaper than the original price. Purely out of necessity. (According to the principle: "The child has graduated from music school and is for sale.")
Having only 15-20000 rubles . You can buy a good semi-prof with your hands. xyl.
