Hello, friends.
I became interested in cajones, but I don't understand them at all. Shed some light if you have any productive experience with them, eh?
The questions are:
- have you seen that cajon is used instead of a barrel - how is this done in general?
- is there any exemplary cajon, say, like the Fender Precision in the bass or the Yamaha NS-10 in the monitors?
- artisan cahons. There are many of them, but are there many good ones? If there was an experience of comparing artisans with a company, or just kohans of different price categories - share.
- just any considerations regarding cajones (is it loud for playing in the apartment, what are the parameters, your favorite videos with interesting use and/or information) - I will study everything.
Thanks!

There are many kakhons, different, including Russians. The best are Spanish like J. Leiva, German very cool Schlagwerk

if that - initially, Yamaha NS-10 are budget high-fi speakers, which producers began to use in ancient times because of their popularity and availability, and not so much for control as for understanding how an unfamiliar room plays with them, in order to understand how the mains of this sound sound the room itself.
considering them as reference monitors is a dangerous idea)

this is for a catchphrase, I am familiar with the background) so the press is not the limit of universality, I just wanted to know about some of the most common, proven option. I should have cited the SM-57 as an example)

After playing on several dozen different cajones, I realized such a thing - a fairly cheap cajon from Meinl can sound good, at the same time one of the top Schlagwerk may not sound. You need to choose right in the store by the sound, the cajon of the same model can sound very different.
I even had one of the top kohans La Rose Black Rose, but it didn't fit into my project at all, unfortunately..
I advise you to watch Valter percussion cajones - cool cajones that sound modern, more versatile unlike most Spaniards, or Gari Bej - cajones of our master from St. Petersburg, I have been playing on this for several years already)
